Day 1 ARRIVAL IN DAKAR
Arrival at Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD). Meet & greet assistance by our staff, followed by transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Dakar/Goree/Dakar
Breakfast, followed by a guided tour of Dakar, once the capital of French West Africa. The tour includes the modern city center around Independence Square, the lively local markets, and the Presidential Palace, well known for its Red Guard. A stop at the Cathedral and the Mosque follows, along with a visit to the African Renaissance Monument. Around midday, transfer to the port of Dakar for embarkation on the ferry, reaching the legendary island of Gorée after a 20-minute crossing. Lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the island, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical significance during the slave trade, including a visit to the House of Slaves museum and the Historical Museum, followed by a stroll through its history-filled streets and alleyways. Late afternoon return to Dakar. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay.
Day 3 Dakar/Palmarin (Saloum)
Breakfast, followed by departure for the Saloum region via the "Petite Côte," the Baobab forest of Sindia, and the market of Mbour. Visit to Joal, birthplace of the former President and poet Léopold Sédar Senghor. Visit to Fadiouth Island (the "Shell Island"), known for its stilted granaries, colorful narrow streets, and its shell cemetery, followed by a canoe ride with a pole (pirogue). Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to typical villages of the Bambara ethnic group. Arrival in Palmarin and check-in at the Palmarin ecolodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Palmarin/Toubacouta (Saloum Delta)
After breakfast, depart for Toubacouta, the gateway to the spectacular Saloum Delta, one of Senegal's most beautiful natural treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, stop in Kaolack to explore its vibrant local market, famous for its medicinal herbs, colorful African fabrics, and authentic handicrafts. Enjoy lunch before continuing to traditional Serer villages, where you'll experience local culture and meet the welcoming communities that preserve centuries-old traditions. Arrive in Toubacouta in the afternoon and check in to your accommodation. Later, embark on a scenic motorboat excursion through the Saloum Delta National Park to the famous Bird Island. Day 6 Ziguinchor/Cap- Skirring/Ziguinchor

Visit traditional animist villages, where ancient rituals and centuries-old customs continue to shape everyday life. Accompanied by an expert guide, venture through the reserve in search of its remarkable African fauna, including white rhinoceroses, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, buffaloes, hyenas, gazelles, antelopes, and several species of monkeys, all thriving in a protected natural environment. Following the safari, return to your hotel for lunch.
