Dolphins Tour

Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of the Bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which are sighted following a short boat trip from the village. Kizimkazi is also the site of a 12th century mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in Zanzibar and East Africa, and is thus worth a visit for both natural and cultural reasons. The Kizimkazi Mosque is one of the oldest Islamic buildings on the East African coast.

Jozani Forest

Jozani Forest’s 44 sq km, about 3% of the whole island, comprise groundwater forest, coastal forest and grassland, as well as mangroves and salt marsh on the coast. It provides a habitat for a wide variety of mammals, birds and butterflies. A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer. The reserve has excellent nature trails, and our English, French, Spanish, Italian and German speaking guides are well trained and informative.
