Jozani Forest - Half day

Jozani Forest is one of the most popular places to visit in Zanzibar. This is the last sanctuary in the world to see the Zanzibar red colobus monkey, which is only endemic to this forest.

Jozani Forest’s 44 sq km, about 3% of the whole island, comprise groundwater forest, coastal forest and grassland, as well as mangroves and salt marsh on the coast. It provides a habitat for a wide variety of mammals, birds and butterflies. A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer.
